Saw this while surfing the web and thought it belonged here:

    lane closed to ease congestion

This doesn’t look like America, which actually really surprises us. We didn’t think the rest of the world was capable of this high level of mental processing. I don’t know how I’d react if I drove by this sign at 2 miles per hour.

It reminds us of our high school physics teacher’s little story about how to calculate total resistance with two parallel resistors on a circuit. If you’re in a checkout line and the store opens a second lane, even if it’s the slowest checker on earth, you’re going to get to your car a little bit quicker.

check out Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay on DVD now!

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is the 2008 comedy film sequel to the hit stoner comedy from 2004, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.

Whether you saw the movie in theaters or not, you’ll want to own the unrated version on DVD to watch over and over again with a different set of buddies each time.

The movie starts right where the first one ended – with Harold and Kumar making a trip to Amsterdam to find Harold’s future girlfriend. Unfortunately, Kumar’s weird looking pipe is mistaken for a pipe bomb resulting in disaster. Suspected of terrorism, they must attempt to escape incarceration at the infamous Guantanamo Bay. They run from the law hoping to prove their innocence, while encountering hilarious yet dangerous scenarios including scary inmates, a bottomless party, the Ku Klux Klan, an inbred Cyclops and many more.

And don’t worry, Neil Patrick Harris is back as the resident shroom-consuming badass he was in the first film.

Okay, seriously, this e-mail was stupid enough that it deserves a separate post. It won’t be part of “the stupid e-mails series” because as we said, it’s so different from the others!

Someone sent us (me, actually) an e-mail asking to be our friend. It had her picture, and man, we can say that sending in the picture was one of the stupidest thing that a person could do!

    Here’s the e-mail…

    From: Kriss Salvador <hidden@gawab.com>

    Hello there!

I found you on Friendster and wanted to add you, I’m a close friend of hidden [our other friend] and I’d love to meet you, and be friends with you too!

Please e-mail me first and let’s have a small chat. I’d want to have a little chitchat with you first before we become Friendster friends.

PS Here’s a picture of me:

    wet underarm
    (We had to crop it)

Oh my… what a turn off! If you didn’t notice, well… take a closer look:

    What\'s that?! o_o

Well, we wouldn’t want to have a very “hygienic” friend! Thanks anyway. Note to our readers: If you don’t want to give “bad” first impressions, don’t send your “bad pictures”. Otherwise you’d be labeled as stupid. :)
